Q. Who is course suitable for ?
Anyone who wants to be a plasterer and gain a valuable plastering qualification.
Choose the dates to suit your circumstances. You can train around your work and family commitments! 6 weeks plastering training, to be completed over a 12 month period, either in one straight block or in individual weeks to suit your commitments. Generally people complete the course over six straight weeks, however its up to you! Pay for your plastering course in instalments as you go along, spreading the cost. Secure your place with a small deposit. Choose a start date that suits you!
Course Content
This course is usually completed over an 6 week period and includes 15 learning units of the City and Guilds plastering qualification.
For the award of a certificate, candidates must successfully complete 15 units in total.

016 Repairing a patch in a plastered wall
065 Boarding and setting a ceiling in one coat
066 Applying a floating coat to wall and attached pier
067 Applying & finishing the setting coat to a floored wall & attached pier
068 Applying a floating coat to square or rectangular column
069 Applying a floating finishing coat to a square or rectangular column
070 Scrim and skim finish with plaster
Optional Units
017 Screeding a sand & cement floor from a given level or datum point
018 Introduction to fixing floor tiles and skirting tiles
071 Applying a textured finish with border
072 Replaster over textured ceiling using bonding agent
073 Applying a plain rendering and finish with a wood float
074 Applying a Tyrolean hand machine finish to a prepared wall
075 Fixing bellcast bead and applying scratch coats to wall areas
076 Applying pebbledash finish to prepared wall

Course Duration
Usually completed over the course of 6 weeks. Each week can be arranged separately to suit your own commitments and be paid for as you go along.
Course Costs
£2000 inc VAT. A deposit of £500 is required on booking with easy installments of approx £250 each week as you go along.
