Metal Stud & Dry Lining Course

Keep up with new developments by learning how to fix metal studs and dryline them, these useful skills are very much in demand as the building industry progresses into using new and modern products.

This four day course gives an introduction into the British Gypsum Gypwall the most commonly used metal partition system in the industry and basic skills in drylining.

Who is this course suitable for?

Anyone, there are no pre requirements to attend this dry lining course. If you want to enter the drylining sector this course is for you.

Correctly install Gypwall systems
Correctly Plasterboard Gypwall system
Apply Gyproc drylining materials to a finish

Understand the use and application of this type of partitioning system
Identify and select the correct components
Extract relevant information from a plan
Set out and install the metal framework
Incorporate services

Practical training, with trainees working in small groups and individually, guided by instructors, to complete set pieces of work. Recapping knowledge questions at the end of the course.

Drylining (Gyproc)

Select and fix the correct plasterboards
Plasterboard selection and options
Handling, measuring and cutting plasterboard

Single and multi-layer
